Who you're buying from
SwornRates is a service of Helmswick Systems Inc., a corporation in Ontario, Canada. Charges are in US dollars, processed by Stripe, and appear on your statement as SWORNRATES.
What you're buying
A one-time purchase of a rate-defense exhibit: a PDF built from our corpus of court-determined expert witness rates for the specialty, setting, and hourly rate you enter on the buy page — $129, no subscription.
Delivery
Your exhibit is delivered to your inbox in minutes. If anything holds it up, you'll have it same-day — or your money back. That backstop is a hard commitment, not an aspiration.
Refunds and re-renders
Three commitments, in plain terms:
- Coverage. The buy page lists only specialties we can put a court-determined band behind, and tells you before you pay when your chosen setting has no setting-specific sub-band — so you shouldn't be able to buy an exhibit we can't build. If yours still doesn't cover your specialty and setting, tell us within 14 days for a full refund.
- Delivery. If we miss the same-day backstop above: full refund.
- Input errors. Typo'd your name or rate, or picked the wrong setting? Fix it yourself from your order page within 7 days and we'll re-render your exhibit free. Picked the wrong specialty? Email support@swornrates.com — a specialty swap is a different document, so we handle it person-to-person, refund-first.
To claim any of these, email support@swornrates.com from the address you bought with. Refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe.
Using your exhibit
The exhibit is yours to use in your professional work — attach it to an engagement letter, a fee-dispute response, or a filing, and share it with your retaining counsel. What you may not do is resell it, or redistribute the underlying corpus, as a product of your own. The court records it cites are public domain; the extraction, verification, and formatting are what you paid us for, and they're licensed to you, not to the general public.
Not legal advice, no outcome promised
SwornRates is a research document with citations. It is not legal advice, and buying it creates no attorney–client or advisory relationship. Courts decide fees; we don't and can't promise that any court, opposing counsel, or client will accept your rate.
Accuracy and liability
Every rate record in your exhibit is verified against the court order's own language and linked to its docket so anyone can check it. We stand behind that process, but the exhibit is provided as-is: our total liability for any claim connected to it is capped at what you paid for it.
Where the data comes from
